Mauricio Sanchez serves as Chairman & CEO of Sanchez & Rivera Group and its subsidiaries. Sanchez & Rivera Title, LLC and Sanchez & Rivera Exchange Corporation.
In 1995, Sanchez & Rivera Title was founded by Mauricio Sanchez & Ron Rivera a former player with the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears and is currently the Defensive Coordinator for the San Diego Chargers. Sanchez & Rivera Title became the first Hispanic-owned title insurance company in the United States. Today, through the leadership of Mr. Sanchez, Sanchez & Rivera Title has expanded beyond Chicago and serves clients throughout the United States and Mexico.
Mr. Sanchez's passion for education and his company's philosophy to educate the communities it serves can be best exemplified in his involvement in the following organizations. Mr. Sanchez has served as President of National Assoc. of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals-Chicago in 2008 & 2009. An organization whose mission is to increase sustainable Hispanic homeownership. Since 2002, Mr. Sanchez currently serves as President of the Hispanic Bankers Foundation. HBF awards scholarships to students pursuing a degree in the financial services industry. In 2007, Mr. Sanchez and his fellow board of directors announced their new scholarship initiative to provide assistance to undocumented students. Mr. Sanchez serves on the board of directors for NAHREP-Chicago, Hispanic Bankers Association, Erie Neighborhood House, Sinai Health Systems and Stewart Title Multicultural Advisory Board.
The Latino community has recognized Mr. Sanchez as a leader and pioneer. In 2007, President George W. Bush invited Mr. Sanchez to the White House's annual Cinco de Mayo festivities. An honor given to Hispanic leaders throughout the United States who have been advocates and contributors to their local communities.
Mr. Sanchez is an advocate for consumer education, entrepreneurship, Hispanic homeownership and higher education in the Latino community. A native of Toluca, Mexico born on December 3, 1971. Mr. Sanchez attended Loyola University of Chicago where he studied International Business and Political Science. Mr. Sanchez is married to Alicia and is the proud father of three children, Jasmin, Domingo and Isabella.
